The Launch of Julie Noble’s Art Exhibition, the first in this season of Stars Art offerings, was attended by a large enthusiastic crowd of all ages.  The paintings were pastels of animals, children and birds, beautifully presented and well received by the audience.

Camille Maple introduced Glenda Parker, of the Adelaide Pastel Association, who opened the exhibition.  She explained the fascination that pastel painting has for its exponents and how both she and Julie Noble came to be devotees of the medium.

Wine and finger food were offered to guests and the evening was a great success.

The paintings that included children were particularly delicate and life-like and the general impression was that Julie has a rare talent in the use of pastel as a painting medium.

The exhibition will be open at Waverley House each Saturday except Anzac Day, from 11.00am to 3.00pm until May 9.
